Its Musical Chairs Time!

The earth is about to open up under New Orleans and San Diego and swallow a couple of their teams up.  Or perhaps a better analogy is that the moving vans will appear in the middle of the night and the teams will disappear without a trace, a la the Baltimore Colts.  Either way, San Diegans and Cajuns better brace for the inevitable.
Yesterday, the NBA rescued the Hornets from their financially troubled owner, George Shinn.  The same George Shinn that announced mid season that he was moving the team from Charlotte to New Orleans only to have the city of Charlotte go anti on him and stop showing up to the games.  I remember watching them in the playoffs and about 9 people were there.

This morning it was reported that AEG is making headway in terms of a new football stadium in downtown Los Angeles.  The 'Always-Eager-To-Fuck-San-Diego' ownership of the Chargers, spearheaded by A#1 Douchebag Dean Spanos, seems to be aligning themselves with the AEG project in what would certainly signal the end of the NFL in San Diego.

Here's my take...  Kansas City may end up working out for the Hornets, as they have a descent track record supporting some REALLY bad sports teams.  Seattle deserves this team more, after Clay Bennet (the NBA's leading scumbucket owner) absconded with the Sonics a few years back.

The Chargers are retarded.  LA had 2 NFL teams it didn't give a rat's ass about.  Why, then, would anyone care about having San Diego's team?  The only way this project works is if the new stadium is essentially outdoor Staples Center, a place so nice that people want to go, irregardless of what team is playing there (read: Clippers).
