The Brian Walmsley led Wheaton Lyons (not a typo, it's actually spelled that way) have looked razor sharp in their first 6 contests of the young season.
The Lyons, who typically open with some real meatballs, have raced out to an 0-6 start, dropping decisions to the likes of Emerson, Eastern Nazarene, Salve Regina, Roger Williams, Bridgewater State and Elms.
Let's talk about a few of these losses. Eastern Nazarene has a student population of about 96 and sucks in pretty much all athletics. The Bridgewater State loss means Wheaton is not even the best team within a 10 mile radius of campus. Elms is literally a school I have never even heard of.
The real question, can the Wheaton commitment to excellence run this losing streak to 10+. We will keep you posted.
