'Toine is making a comeback. Antoine Walker, the greatest of Boston Celtics (I challenge anyone to make a case against that statement) is returning to the world of professional basketball.
... For the Idaho Stampede of D-League fame.
Having been in attendance for one of the all time great Antoine Walker stinkers, shooting about 2 of 83 in a 2003 playoff game at the Fleet Center against New Jersey. He was so inefficient that when he caught the ball in offensive sets, the home crowd was booing him.
What is not to love about this guy. This clown made over $110 million playing in the NBA. You read that right $-1-1-0 million... MILLION... and is now bankrupt. The road to redemption, obviously, is through the D-League and the Gem State. 'Toine, Kip and Napoleon Dynamite all hanging out in Boise on Friday nights. Awesome. The only black guy in the entire state of Idaho.
Watch this space for Antoine Walker updates. We will be monitoring the situation almost as closely as the bench-lacking Miami Heat.
Reading up on the Antoine Walker debacle on Wikipedia, Antoine borrowed money from another NBA all star Nazr Mohammed so he could pay half of his bankruptcy attorney fee.
ReplyDeleteI have come no where near 110mil now or before I die. I will be willing to bet Antoine's 110mil that I never go bankrupt. How did he lose 110mil? Did he go to the school of Mike Tyson on how to lose all your money?
Maybe Antoine should start a new show in Vegas call Walker Wiggles?! It could catch on couldn't it?
