In what has evolved into one of the most unintentionally entertaining storylines of the NFL season, the Washington Redskins today suspended $100 Million waste of space Albert Haynesworth for the remainder of the season without pay.
The team's official statement was the typical regurgitated "conduct detrimental to the team" crap but let's be honest, Haynesworth was suspended for the following reasons:
1. Dude is a whiny bitch who is out of shape and cant contribute in a 3-4 defense
2. The second this guy got paid he stopped working hard
3. It saves the Redskins a ton of money to suspend him without pay
4. Mike Shanahan was not going to lose a pissing contest to this joker
5. Daniel Snyder, moron owner extraordinaire, wouldn't let Shanahan just cut him
The honest truth about the Haynesworth-Redskins situation is that Daniel Snyder should have put that $100mil into the bed of a truck and drove through the middle of downtown DC letting the cash fly out the back. It would have accomplished the exact same amount on the field and at least the people of DC would despise Dan Snyder a very little bit less.
